When I received the letter asking me to renew my contract, I got excited. I began doing my search and evaluation on the current phones.

Like I've said earlier from my previous post, I was torn between the K850i and the LG Viewty. W960i would have been my first choice but it's above my budget...OKAY, MY MUM'S BUDGET.
Even when I was at the Starhub counter, the staff asked me "So which phone will you be getting?" I said, "To be honest, I can't decide. I think you should handle my dad's account first and gimme a while to consider."

I called up Khatijah, asked her about her opinion but I knew she was gonna pick the Viewty cuz of her obsession with getting a touch phone. Kekeke...I myself was keen on getting a touchcreen but was wary about buying the Viewty cuz I was worried I wouldn't be accustomed to texting people by TOUCHING the keypad.

Tick tock tick tock....my dad got his phone and it was my turn...Lo and behold! I mumbled, "I think I'll just get the Viewty...."

So this is how the outer casing of the package looks like...

Well...nothing impressive, until i removed that outer casing and saw this...

Black box made the whole package look uber cool and sophisticated. Except for that HIDEOUS security seal! And den I opened the Pandora's box and saw this!

"View the Next Technology" with a cute Viewty pop-up thingy. THAT'S IT...from this moment onwards...LG's first impression has raised my expectation level to maximum. So I opened the box and the inside was neat and sophisticated looking too. Everything - Adapter, headset, USB cable - was kept in separate black boxes. I can't be bothered to take pictures of watever is inside. I mean...



Actually, you are right. I've really have got nothing better to do this past few days. So below are photos of what's inside the package.




By this time, I got really excited. Started to set up my phone...MY LG BEAUTY...



Those photos don't do JUSTICE, had to take them with my old phone. =P See that's me taking a photo with my old phone. "Insert USIM card"


So i inserted, charged it and started to fiddle around with the touchscreen keypad. It took me about a day to get used to it. But once I did, it's really fun and I can type considerably fast - though nothing beats the conventional keypad.

I got addicted to this phone, kept touching the screen even when I have nothing to do with it. Been trying to take photos with it as well. Overall, I'm more than satisfied with this phone, though I wish I could download themes(I can't find them on the net!!!) and I wish they had more games.

And to my old W550i...I've danced and grooved to your incredible sounds

You have served me well... =)
