Firstly, I NEVER SAID YOU GUYS SUCK. So NEVER EVER add words to my opinions. What I want to say is you guys are GOOD but you are not the BEST when compared to INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS. Don't tell me, you can't accept that fact.

I read from your fellow bandmate, that you guys expected COP. We, ex-members expected BRONZE. So, who is putting who down?

How can you say that? Those who tooked part in 2001 Indoor competition KNEW what it was like to not get the results they wanted. The band members at that time practised soo hard, aiming for a GOLD at the SYF INDOOR COMPETITION IN 2001. But alas, we got SILVER. THE BAND CRIED in pain.

On 12 April 2008, when they announced that Deyi won Best Display. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY ALUMNI MEMBERS TRIED TO HOLD BACK THEIR TEARS? Because we wanted to be strong for you guys. DO YOU? We passed each other comments saying "Don't cry infront of them". So HELL YEAH, we felt horrible BUT yes, we also KNOW how terribly WORSE you guys must have felt because of all the hard work you've put through. So again, please don't make assumptions.

"what i mean is, where are the alumni from 2006?!"

They are there. If not physically, they are supporting you guys spiritually.

isnt it abt giving ur all for the band, as long as the goals are achieved. all i know is that when i graduate, i am so gonna be one active alumni."

JC People have academic goals to achieve. And don't compare it to Secondary School academic goals.

Poly and university students have tonnes of projects and may need to work part-time to help them finance school fees and bank loans. Don't forget the time they need to do tutorials, projects itself, as well as preparing for tests and exams.

So you said, when you graduate, u will become an active alumni. I am seriously waiting. Den when you realise "why isnt the rest of my batch helping as well?". You ASK THEM WHY. Before you know it, you realise it's the same reasons your dear current alumni has given to you now.

so, instead of boycotting the band, why not try to help Mr Siao by guiding the band along as well?

We are beginning to except DCI. We all discussed this among ourselves and some of us do realise that DCI may be the only way we can succeed in 2010. So yes, WE KNOW THAT CHANGE IS NECESSARY. And WE KNOW WE HAVE NO CHOICE. Don't make us sound like we are CLUELESS about the the SYF Outdoor environment.

WE ARE NOT BOYCOTTING THE BAND.

Again, the reason why some are not there to HELP are reasons too complexed for you to understand. Not because you are young. It's just that there are too many factors involved, I wouldnt know where to start if we were to explain.

But one thing I can tell you that, some of us INCLUDING MYSELF, have made it an effort to visit the band and view the band's progress (as stated by a fellow ex-member on my tagboard), and yes, if that is not enuf, we don't know wat is to you. We WISH we could help, but it is AWKWARD, WEIRD - FIND ALL THE SYNONYMOUS WORDS - for us to suddenly appear and HELP. It's hard to explain to you but one day you will understand and I don't blame you if you do not at this age. BUT like i've said, the principal has encouraged us to come back and help and we have given our contacts, so things may change and you may see MORE EX-MEMBERS coming back to help. Things will improve alright? The defeat TK Band faced on 12 April has made the alumni stronger.

WE ARE NOT SABOTAGING THE BAND.

Silver is good enough in our eyes. How do you want us to prove it to you?

Why should we feel pity for you? You have done your best and we are PROUD of you.

P.S: Your post regarding my post and all the wrong interpretations that you have made about it has just caused bitterness to everyone. I am sad...thanks alot.
