I was kinda bored so I decided to look for comments ppl make on the net regarding the display bands competition back in April 17 (not tat it matters). Since the finals for the Best Display Band competition is coming dis Sat, i've decided to write MY OWN comments. So beware...dis is gonna take some time reading...n I'm sure there r ppl out there who might comment on dis...
The comments I see this year were the usuals u noe...There were those who spelt the mace as maze...baton I can accept...but maze? Some dun even noe wat it's called...n I dun blame them cuz it's not really something everyone shud noe...but it simply means u noe nothing abt such band competitions n tat da comments u make may seem rather dumb. And for the LAST TIME, da drum major does not really affect the band's total score. He's like a separate category lah. So, if he sux, he sux lah, he'll jus lose the Best Drum Major title...tat's all but the band still got hope to win. Then, there are those who feel tat Deyi, Bowen and TK Band "are the gods man". Then of course... we have the TKband fanatics n those who really think tat tkband shud go "kiss [their] ass".
But really, y do ppl hate us sooo much. No matter how gd we try to perform, they still think we were the worst band. N it's worst when such comments come frm the inexperienced or musically disabled ppl. Comments like...we dun deserve the gold lah...we dun deserve the Best Display Band title lah...Pls, we didn't claim the awards ourselves ok. We didn't make the decision. If u really hate the fact we get all this awards, go kill the judges ar. They think we're gd, our fault huh? Write them a letter, explaining y u tink we suck. Tell them tat they're blind bastards who noe nothing abt band stuff or music n tat u noe better. Threaten to stab them if they give us the Best Display Band title again for the 4th consequitive year. Do ANYTHING u want, jus dun blame us can? We're jus there to do our stuffs, jus like any other bands out there...showing off to the world our hard work. Then there's ppl who say tat tkband members are soo proud n arrogant tat their noses are permanently stuck in the air. Even b4 the comp starts, one must at least feel and look like a winner wat. U ppl look down n act like losers huh? I dun tink so rite? I didn't really see how the other band members look...cuz I tink all I could see was the sky ar at tat point of time. But I'm sure u guys had ur heads up high too which is gd...proud to see how each one of us are very proud of our own bands. Anyway, it's jus an image we all put up n make us look like arrogant ppl but inside we're all a bunch of sweet souls. =)
Ok, now let's see things in a diff way. All the bands competing for the Best Display Band title is a narrow view. The wider view is tat year by year as these bands compete n try to kick tkband out of her throne, they are actually improving themselves. It's to bring the standard of display bands in S'pore to higher levels. Right...I tink I have enlightened some ppl or maybe I'm already starting to make enemies...haha..i dunno. I also tink i'm done blabbering.
Seriously, I wud luv to see wat ur comments is. If u'r disastified with wat I've said so far n wanna argue, I'll be glad to do so. Jus tag me on my tagboard or u could contact me thru MSN. OK? See ya!

Yesterday, tried to study in the morning but dunno study wat also. Time passed...and soon I was getting ready to meet Khatijah at Somerset. Met them outside Swensens instead cuz their mum treated them...no fair.. And, I tink her sis REALLY changed alot...esp her eyebrows. I like her hair though. Sigh...I'm sooo gonna go for hair treatment later dis year.
Soon, after a lil' chat with her mum, we headed for HMV cuz I wanted to buy a CD. Planned on buying Rufio but it cost 30 odd dollars! Not tat I was short of money but if i bought it, I would have no money to eat n my stomach really ached due to lack of food. So, decided to find the album Train of Thoughts by Dream Theater. There was only one left n when I took it suddenly dis guy beside me asked whether I was gonna buy tat. I said, "yeah..maybe" And he told me to get it cuz he thinks it's a gd album...I was like, "Yeah..I noe." See ppl...it REALLY is a freaking gd album. So, I bought tat album. Next month when my dad gives me $100 to spend on watever I want, I'll buy tht freaking Rufio album together with some clothes from Mango.
Talking abt Mango, all the shops closed really early yesterday. Cuz, there was suppose to be this BIG sale tat's going on today. And, I really mean big lor. Most of it is like 50% off. I saw dis really nice skirt on the window display and it cost less than $20. Damn mid-year lah...if not I would have gone out today to get it. I hope it's not a one day thingy. I hope next week still got sale ar...then can use part of the $100 to buy something there. But even if there is...most of the gd stuff would probably be gone. Sigh...
Then, there is a part when I had to satisfy my grumbling and aching stomach. Decided to eat Zinger Meal at Lido Cineplex. I started on my Zinger burger first and left the Cheese Fries to one side. I LOVE Cheese Fries n I always leave the ones I love da most last. Khatijah started eating some of my fries. I allowed her. She kept eating it but I tot...oh well, it's ok...she'll noe when to stop n leave some for me. She MUST leave some for me cuz i LOVE Cheese Fries. I didn't keep a surveillance eye on her cuz I was busy eating my burger n busy talking to her while watching the movie trailers. When I finished my burger, i turned n saw tat she really did leave some for me! So sweet!! She left me 4 to 5 sticks of Cheese Fries! 5 BATANG SAHAJA!! I wanna repeat dis..I LOVE CHEESE FRIES. So much for me giving her freedom. Haha...nvm..I'll remember dis day Khatijah..I'll finish off half of ur nasi goreng(fried rice) I tell u...
AAAAAAANNNDD.....I LIKE THE DOORMAN AT HYATT HOTEL!! HE IS SOOO CUTE! I like his hair! I'll call him the nice-hair-doorman. hahaha It's the same doorman I saw last Monday when I was out with the trumpeters. Khatijah told me that the doormen at Hyatt are all cute n I tink it's true..cuz the other doorman beside him was gd-looking as well. I'll definitely make it a habit to pass tat hotel everytime I head to town. Furthermore, it's a gd place to check out all the cool cars too! =)
After drinking caramel frap at starbucks(soo long time never drink seh...the feeling was GREAT), I went home. Khatijah had her bf sent her home on his bike...again not fair.
At home, chat chat for awhile...then went to my bedroom to study all da way till 4am. I was sooooo not sleepy!! Must be the caramel frap with all it's sweetness and coffee. I cud have continued studying lah but pls...nak dekat subuh seh! I wonder wat'll happen if I studied all the way till 7 or something. Hahaha...I wonder how I will feel like now. But shit lah...gonna study somemore later...scared lah cannot finish. Must rush already...

Sooo bored! As I type this, I feel like I'm gonna have a bad headache. Plus, I got so many mosquito bites on my legs. I think I got them went I was out on Monday at some bus-stop near the cemetary. Did some revision today though. This time, I did the poems of John Donne. I tink I enjoyed doing the religious poems than the love ones. Dunno why...it didn't took me a long while before I got bored of analysing n writing down notes on the love poems. But when I started on the religious ones...I couldn't stop except for dinner. Oh well, gonna do some Econs and Geog later today and analyse at least one more JD poem. Yay!~ Btw, I'm going out tomorrow...n maybe we'll eat at some fast food restaurant so tat I can analyse abt 2 more poems! Sigh...only now then I got the mood for studying...

Ok...so the gay thingy. Yes, I didn't noe tat in Heeren, we have 2 gay shops until Jocelyn told me. Watever it is, it is not the one beside HMV on the second level. =P Anyway, one of the 2 shops is obviously gayish. They have sandals of the different colours lined up to form the order of a rainbow and stuff....They sell beach wear if i'm not wrong. I forgot the names of their shops though...Actually, I found it kinda cool. Then I took one of the pamphlets tat they placed at their shops and it's abt Singapore having a Mardi Gras festival. If u ppl dunno, Mardi Gras is a gay festival/party. Tot of keeping the pamphlet but I'm too scared if my parents see it. I mean...it has a pic of this man with a disco ball covering his d***. Actually, he's not naked lah...he wore trunks...but still..if u dun observe carefully..u would think his naked. So yeah..u will never look at Heeren the same way again. Hehehe...

U noe, I always seem to get the wrong perception of this particular person's display pic on msn. Example, there was once, his pic was a werewolve and I tot it was a witch. Today it happened again. He had this really evil looking creature. I tot it was an ostrich. Then, he changed it to another pic...of the same creature ar...and boy, it didn't look like an ostrich. It started off kinda badly yesterday...with frenship probs at first. Then, received a call frm Jocelyn who told me tat most of the trumpeters won't be joining us for the trumpet outing to town. So it got frm bad to worse...I cried. Boohoo~ In fact, I found out tat everyone was having a bad start to their day...everyone meaning Jocelyn, Wenqi and me. But despite the bad turn out, we decided to go out anyway.
Met Jocelyn first at Orchard MRT. The rest were gonna be late so we headed to Ngee Ann City...jus strolling. Decided to buy a tub of ice-cream to eat. Bought Wall's Chocolate Heaven. Took spoons frm the food court near the supermarket n looked for a place to sit. Now, take note of the place where we eventually sat to eat. We sat on a bench which was placed in front of Yoshinoya underneath the Mos Burger's sign. So, if u ever passed by it, noe tat we were once there...sitting n indulging in our tub of chocolate ice-cream..=) But we got a lot of stares too. Some ppl stopped talking n jus stared at us like it's really a strange sight to see 2 girls eating frm a tub of ice-cream(ok, maybe it is unusual but it is TAT bad?!). I bet if we were sitting n eating McFlurry nobody would stare at us. Jocelyn n I felt like we shud have a sign which said, "NO STARING. FINE $1" We will make quite a sum of money. We started to count the no. of ppl who stared..and it reached to abt more than 50. Everytime somebody passed and stared at us we'll go like "oh yay! $1!"..."yes...$10 already!" There was once this man stared n after he walked pass us he turned back to face his front...then suddenly out of the blue Jocelyn was like "$1!" and it was kinda loud and that man turned arnd quickly and looked at us again. Kekeke...We didn't finish it though...we still had abt 1/4 to go. I felt sick after tat i tink...=p
Jun Yang joined us then we headed towards Cineleisure arcade to meet Wenqi...played DDR, racing, shooting dead ppl(sounds weird...). For the first time ever, I actually got top position in racing! It's either i've improved or they were all really bad...LOL(we played the daytona or was it datona..so if u were to go there, u will also noe tat we were once there..hehehe)
Anyway, the MAIN thing of the day was tat we spent our money on 4 neoprint sessions! So, each of us spent $8 on neoprints. We were like "(first session)ok..let's take some shots"...."(second session)let's take again at Far East Plaza"..."(third session)hey...tis machine looks cool! wanna take again? okok...let's take!"..."(last session)we took 3...but shud make it 4 lah...even no. nicer..er..wanna take or not..mmmm..aiyah,jus take lah". So yeah....4 sessions of neoprints...more than 50 shots taken including those not printed. I intended to take SOME neoprints with them but I didn't intend to take THAT many! It's a record breaking day for me..definitely...I'll upload some of the photos though..dun worry..not all...LOL Oh yeah..dunno why..but Jun Yang kept stepping on our shoes...

Yesterday, I felt bad abt not doing any revision the whole day...cuz I was out with my parents. Went shopping and mum bought for me a really nice necklace and dad allowed me to buy a nice pair of shoes. Yay!~ So anyway, like i said, I felt bad...so, at abt 11:30pm, I decided to switch off the comp and do some economics revision.
At abt 1am, I heard a loud boom. The first thing tat came to my mind was tat there might be a car accident at the PIE(an expressway) which i can see directly infront of my room window. Looked and saw no car accident. So, the next thing tat came to my mind was, "Hmm...is tat the sound u hear when somebody commits suicide? A loud boom as ur head crashes to the ground." Looked down and saw no body or maybe it was like cannot be seen frm where I am. I was like, "k..watever, i'll find out tomorrow morning if i see any police signs or anything." Jus as I got back to my bed, I heard another boom. Now, I tot maybe it's like some couple suicide...so totally in love tat they decided to kill themselves together.
A few minutes later, my dad came to my room and was like, "hey..u wanna see a burning car?" Like duh I wanna see a burning car. So I followed him to my parents bedroom and looked outside their window which faced the Paya Ubi Industrial Park and saw this particular sports car on fire(I noe it's a sportcar now cuz there's no fire and it's bright daylight). The sports car is already not for used btw...it's parked in the area where all met-with-an-accident cars are placed. The sports car jus went frm bad to worse. There were already a couple of ppl there. A guy with a hose was already trying to put the fire out but to no avail. The fire got bigger and bigger and i was really afraid of another explosion n furthermore, he was like standing so near to the car.
A few minutes later, the civil defence team came with their fire engines.(really amazes me how fast they can arrive) Took them quite a while to put the fire down but definitely much faster than tat poor man. Suddenly the whole area was like filled with smoke. I can even smell it in the house n I tot i had trouble breathing. Really, the smoke was really huge...and it came frm jus one car. So now I noe how bad a building on fire would be. Well, the police came after the whole thing was over. 3 police cars came...then I dunno wat happened...went back to my bedroom...didn't continue revison...I tot tat was enuf for the day's events...so I went to...dreamland...

HATE Ronald McDonalds clowns ESPECIALLY those bred in Singapore! They're the most ugliest shit tat has ever been created in this universe! I jus saw one on Channel I n the sight of him made me wanna curl up and die.
Tat Ronald tat I saw on TV looks totally alienated. Even E.T. looks better and cuter. PLUS...he can't even speak English properly! He has the looks of a freaking chikopek(pervert). Urgh~ If only I could get a knife n scratch his face with it till it turns the same colour as his frizzed up hair!
Actually, I have this thing against clowns. ALL SORTS. They all look freaky to me. I think I hate them since the day I was born. I started to fear them after watching the movie IT based on a novel by Stephen King. As I grew older, it turned to pure hatred. When I was young, this Ronald was giving away balloons n there were all this kids who were sooo happy to see him...giggling...laughing. When he approached me...
I cried. So I guess, now, u can see tat frm the start i was weirder than any other kid. Wat do u think? Is it really jus me?
Oh well, u noe, come to tink of it, I pity tat particular Ronald. It must have felt real bad to see a child crying and screaming in fear at the sight of ur face.
I pity that MAN but I still hate CLOWNS. To me, they're the spawn of Satan together with boybands frm all over the WORLD. Who in hell created them anyway!? Somebody shud start a movement to end the existence of clowns frm the face of the Earth together with the mighty dinosaurs, the Dodo birds and the Backstreet Boys. (Note: Not tat I'm happy abt the extinction of Dodo birds and many other animals...)

Went out with Wahidah today for awhile with her fren whom I tot was like 20+..turns out, he's the same age as both of us. I heard frm them tat ppl tot he's married lah...got one kid lah...lol..i dunno whether tat's gd for him or not. We went to Peninsula Plaza to look for shoes...ate at Sakura(didn't noe they had an outlet infront of City Hall MRT). At Sakura, there was this 2 China ppl..who couldn't speak a word of English...except I heard the woman saying "water"...which sounded like "Wota"(the 'Wo' is like saying mine in chinese..and 'ta' as in tar). Took them abt 15 mins or more to order their dishes...Pff~ i pitied the waiter and waitresses.
Then, we were heading for town cuz i need to get my mum some stuffs..like cockels and marble cake frm Bengawan Solo =S. Then we reached the wide area at City Link...connecting to Esplanade where there's all these breakdancers. Sat and watched them...got a few ppl dancing too. They danced very well though..well most of them...i like the moves!! And the breakers were gd too..damn..if only my body could twist like theirs..all tat i can do is a pathetic freeze. Haha. After tat, we headed on to town..jus so tat I can buy the stuffs for my mum...n i felt bad..i felt like a bother to Wahidah n Co. ...but i'll also feel bad if i dun get my mum her stuffs. Dunno how many times she told me to help her buy stuffs...and i failed to get them for her.
Went to Centerpoint, after buying all the stuffs...saw this guy i guess. He looks like a woman! But no...he's no transversite. He got long hair..like up till his waist..and it's soo straight..he's extremely skinny...and he was wearing short shorts with polo shirt. If he didn't walk...we would have tot he was a woman! But his face like woman lah...but cannot be wat..he walked like man...but the hair...oh fishcake lah...who gives a damn..

Bored, bored, bored on dis rainy day. Nothing to do at home but study and watch tv all da way. Been doing neither..I can't study in dis kinda environment. Too nice a day to pick up my notes and revise...so cooling...i'm better off sleeping.
Suppose to go out with Wahidah later dis week..Yay! It's either to Sentosa or somewhere with her other 2 guy frens. I have no idea who those guys are but she told me to jus follow..Furthermore, she said they're outgoing ppl...I'm still thinking whether i shud follow or not. Anyway, I think i'm gonna start studying like at nite..spent less time infront of the comp too! Oh yeah! One more thing! Liyana's face appeared in Berita Harian! Hahaha..cool ar. But I still haven seen it yet. =(
And another thing! Abt Harry Potter..POA...I think for those who haven read the book..it's gonna get abit confusing. I need to watch it again ar..cuz the last time I watched it..4th June..spent most of my time explaining parts to my fren. Gonna watch it again with the MJCSB trumpeters! Hurrah! Can't wait to see them again! Anyway, I watched POA at Shaw Towers near Suntec City...Beach Rd. It's an old building outside but the cinema inside...to be more specific, Prince 1, is like
WOAH. It's sooo huge! Like 1200+ seats. Heard it's the biggest theatre in Singapore. Not surprising. Inside, it looks grand and all. The sad thing is, not many have ever heard of it. I went and there were like less than 50 ppl watching. Pathetic isn't it? It deserves more than tat! I think it's cuz the place is like secluded and not very prominent. So, if there's any movie u wanna watch n it's screening at Prince 1, u shud go there at least once. If u wanna noe whether the movie is screening in Prince 1 or not, jus check out the site www.shaw.com.sg n click on Tickets n then on Buy Tickets...n I think u noe wat to do frm there. =S I'm like soo promoting tat place man...sheesh to me.

U noe..2 days ago...my mum brought out this news that she received a letter from Spain. I dun have any relatives there or watever. Instead, it was a lottery letter from El Gordo Primitiva Spanish Lottery...some international lottery company. My mum didn't join this lottery. The letter states that some company called Sandy Coast Marketing Co. added her name together with 91,000 names frm arnd the world in tat lottery. And guess wat? My mum won third prize! So, my mum has "been approved for a winning payment of EU350,500.00Cents (THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND EUROS) Equivalent to U.S DOLLARS" sorry..i dun have the euro character =S. Tat's like arnd S$700,000.00 A HUGE sum of money. Exciting isn't it? Imagine all the endless shopping sprees...buying a brand new flat screen computer with a huge memory...an X BOX Limited Edition maybe...a flat-screen TV...new friends...
Well, I wasn't convinced...So, I checked out the internet...found out...It's an f-ing scam. They're not lying abt one thing though. Many ppl from ALL OVER the world received that letter - Australia, America, Canada...now Singapore. Actually, I tot it was kinda cool to be part of it. Heart-wrenching yes...but...like Liyana says "this kinda things can only happen to her" which is me. If anyone of u out there received this...let me noe on my tagboard alrite?(my tag's there...on the right side..u see it? there only...)
No more shopping sprees or watever...sigh...hahaha...The letter is kinda convincing though...well, with a few spelling errors...keke. The thing I found on the letter tat made it look totally cheapo was this picture of a globe of the world which is one of the Microsoft Word cliparts. LOL. I was looking at it and going.."Haven I seen tat globe b4? Oh yes..Mr. Chen(present geog teacher) used it b4 in one of his introductory lectures. Bah~"
Anyway, the scam works like this. The recipient of the letter is expected to fill up this form which they gave...they have to include info like their IC and their bank account no.(i can feel ppl raising their eyebrows). Yeah...how can u possibly give tat kinda info!? So, dumber ppl would...and then those ppl back at Spain would retrieve all the money and stuff. I dunno how....another way is tat..They would ask recipient to send abt 10% of their winnings to them b4 they can send the whole winning amt. Right..U send it...and nothing is given back to u..i'm sure. I pity those dumber ppl...Oh well, this blog of mine better serve as a WARNING to some of u ppl out there...
